Objects of Affection Still Life Art Exhibit

Discover the beauty in everyday objects at the Objects of Affection Still Life Art Exhibition at the Coliseum Museum of Art, Antiques & Americana in Oregon. On display from August 1 through September 12, this juried exhibition features 58 original works by 32 artists from across northern Illinois.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of artistic styles and media, including acrylic, ceramics, digital media, graphite, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, and watercolor. Each artist offers a unique interpretation of the still life tradition, transforming familiar subjects into thoughtful and creative works of art.

Join the museum for the Opening Reception and Awards Presentation on Friday, August 7, from 6–8 p.m. Meet many of the participating artists, enjoy live music by Al & Jeannie Brown, and celebrate the award winners selected by guest juror Glenn Bodish, Art Professor at Sauk Valley Community College.
